The closing conference of the project “CASTADIVA, Biodiversity and multifunctionality of the chestnut” will be held on Wednesday 8 November 2023 at the EXPO Hall of the CNR, via Corti 12, Milan, from 10.00 to 12.30. Valorisation of genetic resources for the development of sub-mountain areas in Lombardy”.
The research project, financed by the Lombardy Region as part of the PSR 2014-2020 Operation 10.2.01 – Conservation of animal and plant biodiversity, focused on the study of the genetic, morphological, biochemical and metabolic variability of chestnut forest plants in two pilot areas of the Lombardy Region: the Varese Prealps and the municipality of Serle in the province of Brescia.
CASTADIVA supports chestnut growing in Lombardy as an opportunity from both an economic and biological point of view. Participation in the event is free upon registration at this link.
