Today 2 October 2020, during the Biotech Week, a webinar on the project entitled “COVES: Development and validation of a rapid method for the SARS-CoV-2 detection on environmental surfaces” was held.
The project was funded by the Lombardy Region and was carried out by the Hyris Ltd company in partnership with the Institute of Agricultural Biology and Biotechnology of the CNR and the Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale della Lombardia e dell’Emilia Romagna It aimed to develop a fast and simple method for the SARS-CoV-2 virus detection in environments, using a portable device able to share immediately the results.
The webinar, held by Simone Romano and Federico Baldo (Hyris Ltd), was part of the Biotech week, a week of biotechnologies to celebrate the key role that biotech has in improving the quality of our life.
